Sango Laptop Stand

The Sango is cut from a single walnut plank — the same grade and origin as the Sora worktop. At its thinnest point it is 8 mm. The profile is a single continuous curve, arrived at after eleven prototypes. It raises a 15-inch laptop 12 cm at the hinge point, bringing the screen to eye level for a seated user of average height without tilting the keyboard.

Every stand on the market is either stamped aluminium or folded wire. Neither belongs on a desk you thought carefully about. The Sango does — it has weight, grain, and a finish that changes slowly with handling.

Finish is one coat of raw linseed oil, buffed dry. The grain is left completely visible. It will darken slightly over months of use — this is expected. Fits laptops up to 17 inches. No assembly. Ships in a cotton bag.
